BIG BEND ADVENTURES
The Terlingua 3rd and 4th graders had an amazing overnight field trip in Big Bend National Park last week! We did a lot of hiking, exploring, and learning. Our favorite hikes were Santa Elena Canyon and Cattail Falls. We'd like to thank Ranger Maria Lavender and Ranger Daphne Sewing for the Star Party and the Geology Program. Thank you to our sponsors, Ms. Mague Palma, Ms. Rachel Crockett, Mr. Mark Gilmore, Ranger Michael Ryan, and Ms. Bernadette Devine. And thank you to Ms. Bobbie Jones for always encouraging us.
As a few may have noticed, we were not open last Saturday. We are taking a short break and will reopen Wednesday, March 16. PLEASE do not leave donations during this time. Thank you for your continuing support.
“ONE DAY AT A TIME" IN TERLINGUA.

TERLINGUA COMMUNITY GARDEN/FARMERS MARKET
There is a lot happening at the Markets. Three vendors are now bringing fresh greens including romaine, mustard, cauliflower leaves, collard greens and green onions. This will be Debbie's last Market for the season, so stock up on your herbal teas, soaps, tinctures and more. We will have a new vendor with embroidered dish towels and wire wrapped jewelry. Music with Bruce Salmon. Support local.

HAPPY TRAILS TO DAVE BENCE OF STUDY BUTTE RV. Best wishes to you as you leave Terlingua for your next adventure.--
May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome,
dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.
May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.
May your rivers flow without end, meandering through pastoral valleys tinkling with bells,
past temples and castles and poets' towers into a dark primeval forest where tigers belch and monkeys howl, through miasmal and mysterious swamps and down into a desert of red rock, blue mesas, domes and pinnacles and grottos of endless stone, and down again into a deep vast ancient unknown chasm where bars of sunlight blaze on profiled cliffs, where deer walk across the white sand beaches, where storms come and go as lightning clangs upon the high crags,
where something strange and more beautiful and more full of wonder than your deepest dreams waits for you beyond that next turning of the canyon walls.
