Banned Books Week (September 30 – October 6) at the Alpine Public Library will culminate with a First Amendment Film Festival, celebrating Your Right to View, Right to Know, Right to Read, and Right to Dance (Yes, that’s self-expression, too!)
On Friday, October 5, four films will be shown in the Library’s AEP Multipurpose Room, beginning at 11 am, and ending by 9 pm. Come to one, or all, and attend the optional discussion between each film to explore topics related to the themes of free and equal access to self-expression and knowledge. Call 837-2621 to get film titles and more information; and visit the Alpine Public Library to pick up your free tickets!
